Project Information
The aim of this project is to redesign streets to create a more agile, intelligent, and people-centered environment, where pedestrians and neighbors can fully enjoy and benefit from Boise's public spaces and streets. As part of this initiative, we plan to incorporate a virtual, participatory, and collaborative process, involving meetings, individual interviews, and surveys to gather input during the design phase. The goal is to implement quick, temporary interventions that enhance pedestrian street life while allowing for iterative improvements over time. This approach will serve as a prototype for activating public spaces at a human scale, transitioning from the old infrastructures and systems to a new, more dynamic urban experience.
